STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES IN LOBBY As staff we are here to provide tourneys and fun. Also to keep a nice atmosphere for our leaguers to play in. If someone is going off in the lobby and you engage with them you are just as guilty as they are! So, please take them to a table or IM. We are NOT here to baby-sit. Always suggest that the leaguers put the person on ignore. If it is a league member and an admin is in the lobby, IM them and let them know and stand aside and allow admin to handle the situation. If a staff member is asked to stop in the lobby and fails to do so, you risk being boxed and/or demoted. MISTAKES Everyone makes mistakes, if we didn't then we wouldn't be human. Please don't point out others mistakes in the lobby. IM them and let them know what the mistake was and do it nicely with respect! SPORTSMANSHIP Sportsmanship can be an issue. We all lose games and we all get tired of losing but that doesn't give us the right to be unkind or a poor sport. We expect all staff to show good sportsmanship. We lead by example so show good sportsmanship - WIN OR LOSE! If a staff member is not showing good sportsmanship - how can we expect the leaguers to? STAFFING IN TWO LEAGUES If you are staff at Silly Angels you CAN NOT be staff in another league. Because then you aren't giving Silly Angels league & members your full attention. And it is a total conflict of interest.

YOUR
ADMIN TEAM The admin team is just that - A TEAM. We all speak to each other and keep each other informed of the things going on. We welcome ALL suggestions, ideas and comments. Please don't hesitate to come to us for anything. We will NOT box anyone for speaking their mind. We do however ask that you speak your mind in a positive way. And no matter how small or big the issue is, YOU WILL BE HEARD and it will be handled in the best way we know how. Please Don't go from admin to admin hoping to get a better answer. We are a team and will stand behind each other's decisions.

Only
YOUR trainer can tell you when you can host tourneys alone. You need your
trainer for your first doubles, 2 hander & Double Elimination (DE).
Please don't run these tourneys without your trainer. You may host and
play after your first 10 tourneys. You may run any game during your last 5
tourneys as long as you have played the game. You must have a basic
understanding of the game you are running.
Please
wait for an admin to go over the HTD menu with you. As you will have a few
new links to work with. Do NOT host any Swiss style tourneys until a Swiss
trainer can go over Swiss training with you! |

They will be able to view the comments if they become staff and we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. If you have a comment on an application please let the staff manager know.
If you run a tourney for another staff member, please let the staff manager know so we can add it to your monthly quota.
Staff meetings are twice a month. Please make sure you have a working e-mail so you can reply to the email saying when there is a staff meeting. Please don't hesitate to IM the staff manager or any admin for any problems or questions you may have. We are all here to help each other!
Please take the time to read the invites you receive before going to the table. Make sure the settings are correct. This will cut down on wasted time. If the first name doesn't make a table - MIA them (see MIA guidelines) and ask their opponent to make. Once you ask the opponent to make you should NOT accept the other players invite.
A total of 10 min per person MIA per round. If a person has no ping please let td know. After a total of 10 min MIA the op wins and the game is canceled

D Q's ***** If
a game is 1/2 way done (2500 pts or more) and a losing OP leaves, or DQ's
then the Op can choose to finish out the game for points only. The DQ
still stands. and or TD will be allowed to sit to finish.....it is up to
the opp if they want to continue for the points or to stop and cancel
Slow
play is when u take longer than 1 minute to complete your turn...if it
persists after a 2nd time,a warning will be issuedat the table. if it
happens a 3rd time dq rule will be enforced
4. You are only allowed to play in 2 tourneys at one time. It is unfair to the other players for someone to be slow playing. The first time you are caught in more than 2 tourneys you will be removed from the most recent (last) SINGLES Tourney joined, repeated offenses of this rule will result in a DQ from all the tourneys you are playing and possible boxing.

TOURNEY GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES Please
be in the lobby to scroll for your tourney at least 30 minutes prior to
the start time, or arrange for another TD to buddy scroll for you. We
encourage buddy scrolling as it cuts down on everyone scrolling out each
other. Scroll ONLY 4 tourneys at a time. SAMPLE PAIRS SCROLL ~*~ NTC ~*~ TABLES 2/2/1 ~*~ RATED & PRIVATE
~*~
MOVING TOURNEYS Please
don't move your tourneys an hour before start time unless you IM a HTD or
ADMIN to let them know that the tourney has to be moved. They could be
scrolling for it in the lobby and leaguers could be joining without the
knowledge that it is being moved. So let another staff member know and
close registration when you move it so no one can join it. Please wait for
a response from whomever you IM'ed so that it's clarified that they now
know that spot is open. If you make a habit of moving tourneys and not
letting someone know your position as a staff member for league will be
reviewed. PRE-BOOKING We
encourage pre-booking of tourneys. Please try to fill the hour spots first
- then the half hour spots. Pre-booking encourages leaguers to come play.
If you pre-book a tourney please make sure you show up to run it. It's not
fair to the other TD's to have to continually run your tourneys. If you
make a habit of pre-booking and not showing up, you will no longer be
allowed to pre-book tourneys. AWARDING BUXX You may scroll buxx in the lobby. TOURNEY SET-UP 1. Make sure before
you click the create button - that you have all the fields needed to make
the tourney filled in and correct. (Correct tourney time, entry fee,
number of rounds) MOST OF ALL HAVE A GOOD TIME.
